I'm a candid wedding photographer in Utah County, specializing in capturing the emotional highlights that happen spontaneously throughout your wedding day.
I love working with joyful couples who want someone to take care of them - and their shot list - so they can relax and enjoy their wedding day!
I believe in community and gathering. I believe in love. And I believe that each wedding is unique and deserves to be documented with care.

I come with a lot of personal and professional experience that is all wrapped up in the motivation for everything I do: my family. Chris and I have been married 26 years, since our temple sealing in San Diego, California, and our four kids are my favorite clients - I adore them!
One thing that is unusual about me is that everywhere I go, someone I have never met seems to think they know me! I just have one of those faces, I guess, because it is consistent and people are convinced we know each other already. I count this as a superpower because people also feel really comfortable around me and feel safe sharing their thoughts and ideas with me. It's truly a blessing and I think it makes me a better friend and a better photographer!
Our family loves to travel and explore the outdoors together. Some of our favorite vacations include exploring ruins at Mesa Verde National Park, canoeing in the Amazon rainforest, backpacking on Channel Islands National Park, hiking in Zion National Park, cliff-jumping in Ecuador, ziplining in Costa Rica, and backpacking in the Uintas. Chris and I plan to hike in every National Park in the U.S., and to one day take a train across the country.
When we travel to less remote places, I am always on the lookout for charming, tucked-away book shops, the kind of literary hideaways where time seems to slow down. I always seem to find some obscure treasure in these shops, like my favorite copy of Persuasion by Jane Austen, which I found in Bath, or the funny little picture book I found in Cedar City, All My Friends Are Dead. When we are home, I often find myself back at my favorite local book shop, Pioneer Book, in downtown Provo. I always find something amusing on the table near the entrance, like The Diary of Adam and Eve!
Whether traveling or close to home, I love to take pictures of people making meaningful connections or experiencing something exquisite for the first time. Preserving the richness of life through photos makes it possible for us to hang on to these experiences forever.
