Welcome! I'm Sarah, a documentary wedding photographer in Mapleton, Utah. This means that I specialize in cultivating and capturing the beauty of a couple's shared experiences so that your photos will remind you of a feeling rather than a pose. You can trust me to capture the real story of your engagement and wedding day so that you can be fully present and truly you. I'll still give you direction to help you look your best, but your wedding day will not feel like an all-day photo shoot! I'll support your vision. I'll catch the emotional moments. I'll become a friend you are comfortable with and can trust to show up and deliver. Incidentally, I am also a trained administrator who knows how important communication and record-keeping are. Your memories are safe with me!

What is your shooting style?
My shooting style is like my personality: confident and friendly, with a calming influence. During photo sessions, I will guide you to a beautiful location and then prompt natural interactions for capturing comfortable, candid moments. I'll teach you how to pose and interact during your engagement session so that you are naturals on your wedding day and don't need much instruction from me. On your wedding day, I will direct your family and friends for fun, efficient formal photos and keep everyone on schedule. The rest of the day, I'll be candidly capturing each beautiful moment for you!
What is your editing style?
My finished images are edited to reflect the feeling of the moment. I lean toward true-to-life colors with added warmth for classy, timeless images, and incorporate black and white images into every wedding gallery. Your gallery will tell your story for years to come.
Do you travel?
I am based in Utah County and available to travel to wherever you are planning to be! Travel fees will be estimated during our initial consultation.
How many images can I expect?
For each hour of wedding coverage, I average about 100 final images. I love delivering my clients' files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes!
